Hello Everyone!

Jessica, welcome back, & you are not the latest in this ;-)

My One Question is:
"Why do i believe Him?"

Context: we will be examining the words, teachings & claims of Jesus in this gospel study. as i come face-to-face with what the disciples & Jesus Himself proclaim about Him, i will need to answer this question - why? do i believe what Jesus & others say about Himself? i hope my relatively young christian faith will be challenged for the good that i will be more deeply affirmed than before.

On another note, some updates pertaining to my previous prayer request: my application to ECTA has been formally accepted by Australia. i will be a student again! =p I am also likely to serve with Focus on the Family, perhaps starting next Monday. Changes galore...hold fast to Christ!

hi all! i missed you guys :)

sorry this is late.. i just got around to clearing my emails and opening alicia lim's email about the faithbook account and all.

my 1 question is kinda like jami's, terence's and yinting's:

how did Jesus, despite being 100% man, manage to maintain an upward, heaven-bound, eternity-based perspective of things despite the numerous temptations of this world and the sinfulness of the society that He lived in... and more importantly, how can i do the same?

- confirmation in 2 weeks, course to start in july
- decision: to go back to full-time work or continue as free-lance?

My one question (though there are MANY questions) is this:

I'd like to learn about Jesus's heart, how He viewed the world and the people, and how that shaped His speech and actions. Call it a Christ like perspective.

Alright, gonna do this before I start work and completely forget about it

My one question is sorta convoluted. I was thinking earlier today about how it must have been a dramatically different experience for Jesus to relate to God when Jesus was on Earth, as before this, He always was one yet separate from God in the same space. 

So my question is : How did Jesus manage to maintain his intimate relationship with God, so perfectly that his entire life was a demonstration of God's will, and not his own will? Would like to know so I can try to emulate his example, and live my life in God's will instead of my own.

Before I start immersing myself back into the madness of revision, here is my one question (though I have a few, haha).

"How did Jesus manage to do numerous things in His life and still not be influenced/ distracted by the world to stray off from His mission on Earth?"

Just decided to unload more questions so that my post sounds complete.

"How did Jesus manage to stay perfect as He lives in this imperfect and sinful world? How did He be in the world but not of the world?"

The 2nd question came from the verse James 4:4. I was smacked with this verse last week. Still pondering over it.

By the way, Mrs. Chiang's question is really cool too! Worth pondering on :)

My question: How can I live differently after learning who Jesus is so that God will be pleased with me?

Since I’m at this, qn 2:

How would you like your r/s with Christ to be different as a result of studying His life and Ministry?

I would like to understand Him better, so that I don’t just do things my ways, but his ways while He was on earth.
